Antibes
Once the high-end boutiques and splendid hotels of Cannes are left behind, you will take the coastal road to Antibes which traverses the summer resorts of Golfe-Juan and Juan-les-Pins, both steeped in history as well as ongoing events. You’ve now reached Antibes, or Antipolis as the Greeks had first named it. A town which played the role of sentinel for the country during many centuries, hence its ramparts circling the Old Town. There you might consider strolling along those XVth century walls and Grimaldi Castle - nowadays the Picasso museum.
Then your guide will drive you out of the Old Town. Once past Antibes’ large marina and its ‘Billionaires’ Quay‘, you will proceed along the coastline until you reach the town of Villeneuve-Loubet with its extraordinary ‘Marina of the Bay of Angels’ from where you will go inland towards your last site visit.

When walking through the mesmerizing maze of cobbled streets with their numerous listed monuments, it becomes clear how this medieval village appealed to a vast number of artists with the likes of Matisse, Modigliani, Chagall or Picasso instilling a definite artistic touch that one can now ascertain when gazing at the windows of the countless art galleries. Taking you back to another time - notably due to its aura of light at certain hours - it is no wonder why famous actors too have chosen the quaint village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence as their ideal retreat when coming to stay on the Riviera.

Great guide

On a recent cruise to Cannes we took a non ship tour through Viator. As our luck would have it, we got a fabulous guide whose name is Reno.
In half of a day, he gave us an insightful introduction to his homeland and shared with us many stories about his life and country. Those made our short visit unforgettable!
We would highly recommend the tour as well as the guide. We enjoyed both very much!

AMAZING concise tour of the French Riviera

I had an amazing half day tour with Audrey. I went with my mother and she loves to ask questions about everything. Audrey was extremely personable and informative and answered all my mom's questions. She was also able to keep the energy in the car ride vibrant by providing very interesting and engaging conversations. I really enjoyed the schedule of the tour. We drove in a nice comfortable air-conditioned car and hit the 3 cities listed above. This was essential during the heat wave. She gave us great fun facts about the cities before we arrived and then we were given time to walk around experience. I did quesiton booking a tour during our very short visit in Monte-Carlo but my mom and I both agree that it was definintely worth it. We would have never seen the other super cute, yet different cities on the french rivieria if we did not participate in this tour. It was the best decision. Audrey definitely contributed to our experience and I would recommend anyone book this trip to specifically ask for her. She is fluent in English, French and Spanish. 5 Stars to this group and their staff
PS the booking process was seamless
